The German and Taiwanese governments are making moves to broaden the use of linix and open source respectively. This spells big trouble for Microsoft. Especially the Taiwanese who are going to fund efforts to develop open source office software. Lets hope the Taiwanese project ends up joining ongoing efforts and doesn't try to roll its own.
