Carbon Nanotubes Found To Fluoresce; Optical Properties Could Prove Useful In Biomedical, Nanoelectronic Appli

They can penetrate cell membranes, it is possible to wrap other molecules around them and now they fluoresce in the near infrared. A wavelength that our bodies don't absorb. All sorts of utilities will come from these.
