Bush challenges hundreds of laws

One of the main reasons I do not like this Administration. It believes that it does not have to follow a law that Congress passes simply because it does not ant to. It aggregates to itself all executive powers, as well as many legislative and judicial. It gets to decide what is unconstitutional. It gets to decide what is legal. It gets to decide where the money gets spent. It can take money from one budgeted area and apply it to another. It can ignore Congress when it wants. It can ignore the courts when it wants. It can ignore the Constitution when it wants. It can ignore the facts when it wants.

Sounds like a king to me. What has happened to America that it would allow such central authority to exist? That would allow a single decider to determine the wishes of our elected officials? That would allow a unitary executive to exist? Seems to me that the only people upset enough to protest are those representing people who are not even citizens.  comment []9:34:22 AM
