Writing in this morning's Wall Street Journal, Peter A. Brown compares the Bush family with the Corleones. Talking about how the Bushes, W and Jeb, are not supporting the "attractive and articulate" Katherine Harris in her bid for Senate, he writes:
The Bush oys and the Republican apparatus they control in Florida and Washington have done everything possible to block her. Of course, none of this is perosnal. It's just business, as the Corleones used ot say, and the Bush family business is hardball politics. They believe, as do most objective observers o fthe race, that Ms. Harris's chances of defeating Sen. Nelson, th esole remaining state-wide elected Democrat in the Sunshine State, are slim to none.
Indeed.
