At the same time as William J. Bennett (almost) confesses to the New York Times that he was wrong about the character of the American people (see following comment), he also is busy maligning their college students. Bennett's organization, Empower, has polled 634 college students and posted the results on its site, and Bennett has made some strong accusations against American college students. In a close look at the poll, those accusations do not hold up, but do stand out as character assassination. [Trying Civility]
