News4Jax.com - Fla. Police Clear Cars; Hoax Suspected

Mickey Lloyd, of the Georgia Department of Safety said, "The message I would like to relay this morning is the system that we have in place -- and what we have relayed to the public in Georgia to be alert, to be aware, and report has worked. We don't know if this is going to be a legitimate report ... but even if turns out it is not, the system has worked."

Georgia law enforcement appears to have about as much brains as the citizenry.  False alarms that shut down a major transportation artery for 17 hours are not an example of the system working.  In fact, they simply further the terrorists' aims of paralyzing the country through hysteria.

"If those three students had been of almost any other origin, up to and including Cracker-baiting Northern yuppies, one suspects Eunice doesn't make that phone call -- or at least asks herself why the terrorists would be speaking a language she can understand. "

The sickening thing is that not only was there a vast state overreaction to this hysterical woman's racist accusations, but the brother of the President is congratulating her on her actions.  Somehow it does not seem to be an accident that this incident occurred in the benighted South.

"PHILADELPHIA (AP) - An Indian doctor who was on a flight when a federal air marshal pointed a gun at passengers while another detained an unruly passenger said he was held for hours after the plane landed because of racial profiling.

"Bob Rajcoomar, a naturalized citizen and former U.S. Army major from Lake Worth, Fla., filed notice Wednesday in U.S. District Court that he may sue the government for illegal detention and emotional distress, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Thursday." [FindLaw]

As we haul medical doctors off airplanes without explanation and launch manhunts for medical students on the addled report of dirt-eating Georgia hicks, we begin to taste the fruits of the Ashcroft Justice Department's assault on democracy.
