[Sam Ruby's Radio Weblog] Dizzy: Dave Winer's Instant Outliner screen shot looks intriguing. I have to wonder (being a Jabber guy) if he's using some HTTP/XMLRPC mix to back this stuff or if he's using a full blown XML routing platform...like Jabber. If he isn't using Jabber (or some equivalent) I've got to wonder how he intends to get people behind firewalls involved. Answer: It's so low tech. I can see the objections now: it undoubtably won't scale. But it doesn't matter, this clearly is the bootstrap phase. Perhaps the right answer is to retrofit something like Jabber underneath all of this.
