[Slashdot: News for nerds, stuff that matters] Distributed Computing Program Hidden in KazaaI think with the reaction here should tell people that thing it will be cheap and easy to harness unused cycles around the net a thing or two. Granted Kazaa was a little underhanded in the way they introduced... I dunno -- what did you expect -- you have to a little sleazy to try to make money by organizing crime, which is essentially what Kazaa does...

[Scripting News] I wrote a brief intro to Jon's piece for DaveNet readers. A nice intro to Instant Outlining. The model still seems a little unnatural to me -- it's a one-way medium, and it seems the usefulness depends on how much effort the outliner puts into it, yet the the effort put in is mostly pays off for other people.
