Think Outside the Browser Unfortunately the goals are framed in terms of creating web sites rather than finding a way to deliver a service that may include the use of the web. Even if there weren't performance problems on today's Internet the local PC is where the high performance interactions take place. And the PC should act as your agent in dealing with the remote services rather than burdening you with the quirks of the raw Internet.
