Andersen in telecom probe SEC looking into embattled accounting firm's role with telecom firms that are under investigation. The Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating Arthur Andersen LLP's role as auditor for three telecom firms whose accounting practices currently are under review by the SEC, according to a published report Friday.
