Two more in the Open Source camp Interesting decisions: UK government backs open source Linux companies sign Brazil sales deal A long time ago I said that the real damage to MS and it's monopoly ways would come from overseas. Bill can talk about the evils of the GPL (and I really am not a fan of him or it), but to other countries it looks like a way to free themselves from servitude. It also comes as Microsoft approaches the deadline for it's new Software Assurance plan that has caused such a storm due to higher cost and 'lock-ins' to MS software.
