Le Pen gets buried...but wins For once the French get it right. Don't get me started on the French...great food, good wine, but since Napy, how many things to smile about on the military front, or the world stage? They had an exlection today and did the right thing. The Left came out, held their noses and voted for Jacques Chirac. Over 80% voted for the conservative President. Even if he lost, Le Pen did acheive one thing, French politics is moving to the right. The hard Law & Order plank is going to get pushed by Chirac and the new more right-leaning assembly. In defeating Le Pen they will give him many of the very things he wanted...strange how that works...mj 12:15:08 AM
