Voters can choose...whatever!
I got up this morning and read a wonderful opinion piece by Joel Connelly. He points out the absurdity if the Eyman's of the world. Washington state is flushing itself with the "I don't use it, I don't pay for it, and if I do use it, it should be free" attitude. We have no vision and refuse to build for the future.
To quote the piece: If it prevails, however, this "I want mine and the heck with your needs" attitude threatens to undermine just about every action we've taken to grow and position this state in the past 40 years.
I worry about the place my son will live in...what will we leave for him and future generations. Of course, I could point out that most of this change came over the past 20 years, after the influx of people from other states that had already shafted themselves...California comes to mind...mj
