Random thoughts... I'm pretty tied up with school and trying to get my new single life rolling. This morning as I drank my coffee, listened to Vangelis, and read the latest Apple news, an idea germinated. There are a lot of loose pieces running around in my head -- but one idea keeps coming back to me. Where is Apple going? Jobs announced in Paris a few weeks ago that next year will see Macs that do not boot into Classic. That's fine with me. I am one driver away (film scanner) from not having to ever turn on Classic. We know that Motorola has been dragging the Mac down with slow processor development. Put them together, and what do you get? OS X on x86 is what I get...think about it...mj 9:24:21 AM
