Some photographs of Dorset this summer. My old Cannon IXUS (a.k.a ELPH) seems to be showing its age. It's not as sharp as it used to be. I've been looking at going back to 35mm or jumping into digital. Canon are releasing some new digital models in a couple of weeks. Time to take a look, I think. 7:45:45 AM    comment()

Work update The data entry pages of the News Management System I'm building at work are a few days away from being finished. It's been a long time coming, but I've had a load of other stuff going on. Next I will build the publication code that creates the specific HTML newsletter and places it on the web server, and then tool to send an HTML e-mail notification of a publication. Once these are done the pilot newsletter (our main company news source) can go ahead. Later, we can start using the system to populate our Intranet home and news pages, and anything else. Another new development is that we will soon have a recent version of Documentum's Web Publisher tool available to us, which has just been certified against Sybase. I'm told this will be installed next week. We have been waiting a long, long time for this. 6:59:48 AM    comment()
