New Trailer For Upcoming Hitchhiker's Episodes [Slashdot] Two new series of the Hitchhiker's Guide  have been made. The Voice of the Book is played by William Franklyn, who replaces the late, and undoubtedly great, Peter Jones. From the audio preview (MP3 - not RealAudio - yay!) it sounds like Franklyn will make a good job of it. It's a hard act to follow. There's also a video preview (QuickTime, 83MB), which is worth downloading if you have broadband and do not suffer from an irrational fear of jowls. I so hope it's good. ------------------------ In case you didn't know, a film is also in progress. Martin Freeman of The Office is playing Arthur Dent, which is a great piece of casting.
