Can't believe I didn't post anything in June. All kinds of stuff went on.  It's important not to take yourself too seriously, but c'mon, a little seriously, I mean, you matter too.

PRODIGY are back in (pulp fiction ref) a big way. Baby' got a Temper is perhaps the best dance track I've heard this year.  If you like to shake your rumpa (bboys ref) and can stand a tune that's got a little soc-pol meat hanging off the hooks, well, enjoy.  The few dance clubs we bopped in over the weekend in Dublin and Galway could do with a bit of these exceptional young gentleman's exegetic boom in the -- uh -- mix -- ahem -- as it were.

10:01:54 PM

Just got back from one of the best weeks of my life. I was invited to Carrick on Shannon in Ireland for a wedding by two friends, Al and Angela.  Fine ones both.  Saw many people that I hadn't in months or years, met some new folks and got a bit closer to some I see often.

Ireland is beautiful country and the people are oh so amiable. Cleared a goodly portion of the black gold (Guiness) and sundry distilled and brewed beverages and ate like a duke.

Standing on the cliffs of Aran that the Celts had stood on 100's of years ago and staring out to the Atlantic, thinking about what you do and for what you do it, is good for the soul, though not so good for the soles as I lost the heel on one of my boots somewhere up there.

A visit to the Guiness storehouse is well worth it if you're in Dublin and like beer or tightly designed public space or great views of the city (7th floor Gravity bar) and if you like all three, well, 'nuff said.
