Morning by Morning Devotional: Genesis 1:4
"And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness."
When the Holy Spirit gives us spiritual light, and opens our eyes to behold the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, we behold sin in its true colours, and ourselves in our real position; we see the Most Holy God as He reveals Himself, the plan of mercy as He propounds it, and the world to come as the Word describes it. -- C. H. Spurgeon

Daily Devotional: John 13:36
Jesus answered him, 'Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward'
All our promises and resolutions end in denial because we have no power to accomplish them. When we come to the end of ourselves, not just mentally but completely, we are able to "receive the Holy Spirit. -- Oswald Chambers

Memory verse: 1 Timothy 5:24-25

The sins of some men are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them. In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not cannot be hidden.
