Morning by Morning Devotional: Psalm 91:3 (tsk)

"Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler."
Trouble is often the means whereby God delivers us. God knows that our backsliding will soon end in our destruction, and He in mercy sends the rod. We say, "Lord, why is this?" not knowing that our trouble has been the means of delivering us from far greater evil. -- C. H. Spurgeon

Memory verse: 2 Corinthians 3:18 (tsk)

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Daily Devotional: Acts 26:16 (tsk)
I have appeared to you for this purpose . . .
When we are born again, if we are spiritual at all, we have visions of what Jesus wants us to be. It is important that I learn not to be "disobedient to the heavenly vision" -- not to doubt that it can be attained. -- Oswald Chambers
