Morning by Morning Devotional:
Matthew 6:26 (tsk)
"Your heavenly Father."
Yield your bodies as instruments of righteousness, because righteousness is your Father's will, and kingly attribute so sweetly veiled in love, that the King's crown is forgotten in the King's face, and His sceptre becomes, not a rod of iron, but a silver sceptre of mercy--the sceptre indeed seems to be forgotten in the tender hand of Him who wields it.

Daily Devotional:
Matthew 6:30 (tsk)
If God so clothes the grass of the field . . . , will He not much more clothe you . . . ?
A simple statement of Jesus is always a puzzle to us because we will not be simple. How can we maintain the simplicity of Jesus so that we may understand Him? By receiving His Spirit, recognizing and relying on Him, and obeying Him as He brings us the truth of His Word, life will become amazingly simple.

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.".
