Morning by Morning Devotional:
"Arise, and depart."
-- Micah 2:10
We know that there is a black and stormy river called "Death." God bids us cross it, promising to be with us. And, after death, what cometh? What wonder-world will open upon our astonished sight? What scene of glory will be unfolded to our view? No traveller has ever returned to tell.

Daily Devotional:
We were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened
-- Luke 24:21
Dejection stems from one of two sources -- I have either satisfied a lust or I have not had it satisfied. In either case, dejection is the result. Lust means "I must have it at once." Spiritual lust causes me to demand an answer from God, instead of seeking God Himself who gives the answer.

Memory verse: Matthew 28:19-20
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
