OK - Got the latest RU tool install - myPictures - cool for posting images, but how would one reuse that same image in a later posting?

Library News Daily: "Library Hi Tech is Emerald's Journal of the Week until February 3. Free online access" Damn. I was trying so hard to finish my cuurent book. Oh well...

Adding a couple of extras to the site. Comments should now be active for each posting. Also, last ten referers should be listed at the right. Thanks Mark and Jenny!

The Shifted Librarian: "A lot of people tell me that ebooks on PDAs will never take off, and at first I was inclined to agree. These days I'm not so sure, though. You can download an ebook onto a Cybiko or a Gameboy, and who knows what kinds of magnification or voice technologies await us in the future. They won't replace the printed word, but I'm not willing to discount them out of hand, either." - Me either! In fact, I believe that it's only a matter of time before standards become concrete enough to allow these different technologies to reside on a single device.

On a back patting kick this morn...
I'm finding deciding on a supportive donation amount for NewsIsFree.com is a bit hard. The site is awesome! I would seriously pay a premium for this service and yet it's free.
Radio Userland subscribers have some incredibly functionality through this site. First off, searching for news is a breeze. Find something you want to comment on or post to your site, simply check the item and hit the appropriate site tool. You've got not only Radio, but also Blogger, Manila, and NIF's own internal Drupal blog tool or even email-to capabilitiy. The only way this could get any better would be to be able to post the same item to multiple sources at once.
Find a news feed you enjoy and want to subscribe to. Radio users are 2 clicks away from subscribing. I personally like NIFs aggregator interface more than RUs because it allows for grouping and placement on user-defined pages (ala MyYahoo), but it talks to RU if you want it to. Support for other news readers is also there as well.
How do you put a $-figure on such cool stuff?

I'm really begining to appreciate Radio. Oh sure the basics as such are no problem. Just a desire to share your thoughts and opinions and you've found the almost perfect tool.
But Radio is still very much a work in progress and thanks to the foresight of the folks at Userland a work in progress that is being improved upon *even* by competitors.
Take for example the Radio aggregrator. A fine idea in and of it's own right. It works like a charm out of the box, but by no means is it as user friendly or flexible as say NewsIsFree.com's interface for performing the same actions.
But Radio is open. So, for those out there who favor one interface over another, Radio does not force you to compromise. You *can* have your cake and eat it too. Thanks Userland.
