I've considered the possiblity of running Thin Clients for the centralized management, but the question mark in my mind is how to handle the branches.

I've elected not to purchase RU8 at this point.  Although I feel it's a great concept and a feature rich product, I feel that the 'desktop' server concept just doesn't quite fit into my own personal usage model (at least not yet).

Still experimenting with publishing tools, but I think Movable Type has some real potential.  And of course, NewsIsFree remains the best news aggregator I've used to date.
