R8 has duplication controls - I didn't realize that it had that kind of intelligence.  I accidently hit the Post & Publish button twice for the same posting and got this message:

Added the ability to include small (or large) OPML files as a means of updating sidebar links like books I'm reading, movies I've recently watched and thanks to a Winamp plugin called Personal Hit List (sorry no link), a listing of tracks I'm listening to upstreamed on an hourly basis.

These only appear on the Home page categories (where I've specified) but it would be nice to have them propogate to the categorie pages as well -  unless of course I specify my own category home page templates.

The front porch as a metaphor for blogging.  Grassroots information exchange.  I think I like this better than the "water cooler concept" (although in certain circles i guess that works as well)
