| Security weblog Useless Digital Signatures Widespread application of electronic signatures and public-key certificates are still far cry. Personal certificates are too expensive and hard to implement to be really useful for digital signing on mass scale. And I even don't mention the fact that in most applications one can easily get away without certificates. This is my article argumenting that the digital signature nirvana pictured by proponents of electronic signature laws in Czech Republic is nonsense. You won't get much from the article if you don't speak Czech, but don't despair - internationally applicable lessons are soon to come. 12:53:53 AM
