There's a "ranking by page-reads" page. But I'd also like to see a "ranking by posts" page, which would show which pages are being updated the most. That's a page I might have a chance of getting on :)

Aha. Now I know why it looks like Dane Carlson is pointing to my weblog. Because he has a link to blogrolling, which basically points to all the weblogs on weblogs.com. So most likely everbody has Dane's site in their "referers" section. And now, because I linked to blogrolling, I'll be in everbody's "referers" section as well :)

Here's a feature[Scripting News]: I got this and other features by updating radio remotely. Of course, that revealed a kind of a bug with the link on that site. It wants to link to the local Radio (127.0.0.1). But my Radio is remote.

I just looked in my Events and noticed this:

"Notified Weblogs.Com that Will Leshner's Radio Weblog updated. And it said in response -- Thanks for the ping, however we can only accept one ping every five minutes. It's cool that you're updating so often, however, if I may be so bold as to offer some advice -- take a break, you'll enjoy life more."

My approach to this weblog has been to make fairly short posts and so I tend to make more of them quicker. But I guess Weblogs.Com doesn't like that :)

I'd heard that kids have more homework then they used to and I think it must be true. My kids have quite a bit of homework every day. Even my son, who is in first grade. I don't remember having as much, but maybe I did.

That last post was my first attempt to quote from somebody else's weblog. I'm sure there must be an easy way to do it but I found it a bit awkward. I made up the link myself and I'm sure there must be an automated way to do it.

'The killer app for OS X is a standard Unix terminal command called "uptime."'[Doc Searls Weblog]: I love 'uptime'. I'm looking forward to seeing how long my wife's iBook can go without restarting. I think it's been going something like 20 days so far.

I got my first referer link from somebody other than myself. Dane Carlson is apparently linking to me, but I can't see any link to me on his page. Hmmm.

So I did pick up Baba's remains. And they did come in a decorative tin. And we got a certificate as well. It's hard to believe that poor Baba's body has been reduced to some ashes in a tin can. We plan to find something more interesting to put him in, of course.

Baba's cremains are ready today so I'm going to pick them up after work. They come in a decorative tin!

This is a test.

Radio 8.0.2 is ready. [Scripting News]: Wow. Those UserLand guys are working fast. This is cool.

Enron chairman resigns. Kenneth Lay, the chairman of bankrupt energy giant Enron, resigns as a Congressional probe into its bankruptcy continues. [BBC News: world]: What did he resign from? Does the company really even still exist?

My third day without coffee. I feel better. But somebody's brewing a pot and the aroma makes me want some. But I think I can make it through the day without drinking any.
