Yesterday I had a lot of trouble with my TiBook and even managed a kernel panic. My first on that machine. I'm positive it has to do with my external firewire drive (LaCie PocketDrive). I don't think there is anything wrong with the drive itself. I'm pretty sure its just software (isn't always). So I updated the drives firmware and updated my TiBook's firmware and we'll see if that helps.

Columnist writes rebuttal on future of Apple [MacNN]: I didn't read the story. I like reading the MacNN forum better. A lot of stuff about Apple's supposedly low market share. I have a theory that Apple's market share is actually a lot bigger than people calculate it to be. But I don't have any way to verify that. But I don't really care. I don't want Apple to become huge. I just want them to keep doing what they are doing and to do that they need to make money. And they are. So I think things are pretty peachy. Right before Steve came back I was actually investigating a jump to Windows. Apple and the Mac were not only in trouble, they were boring. Well, they ain't boring now. As far as I am concerned they are the most interesting computing company out there. So I'm really happy :)

New Radio 8 feature. "Now you can change the file extension for rendered files, as they upstream. The next feature in the queue is post-to-category without posting to the home page."[Scripting News]: Yes yes yes. That will be sooo cool.

I just tested Radio's faster News Aggregator and it is about a million times faster. Brought the page up very quickly. This was one of my pet peeves (thanks OmniDictionary for helping me to spell 'peeve':)).
