I'm planning to bike to work tomorrow. It turns out that the canyon I bike through also had a fire today. I wonder if I'll be able to see any of it. Fortunately, no homes were damaged.

Bill's Radio Weblog looks like a very good running commentary on using Radio. I'm hoping that Bill has run into some of the same problems I have with my attempts to stream to an FTP server. Well, I don't wish trouble for Bill, I'm just selfishly hoping he has encountered and solved the problem. Thanks to Robert Scoble for the link.

The search box on the right (and the engine behind it) comes from here - and there is a free version as well... [Radio.Rogis.Net]
I was just about to try this out. I even signed up. But then I saw this in the license agreement:
Customer represents to Atomz that the Customer Web sites shall not contain pornographic material, sites with links to pornographic sites, blah, blah, blah
Oh well :)

I won my first auction on ebay. It's an Olympus OM-1 camera. I had one about 15 years ago and sold it to get an OM-2. I sold the OM-2 about 10 years ago. I'm going to try for one of those as well. I wouldn't mind having both.

Review Of Netflix DVD Rental Service [Slashdot]
I used to belong to NetFlix. I think it is one of the best uses of the internet to conduct a business. You keep a wishlist of movies and NetFlix tries to send the first movie on the list. If they can't the send the next one. The problems I had were that frequently the movies at the top of my list were unavailable. Somebody else had all the copies checked out. Plus, there were several times that moves I'd sent back never reached NetFlix. I didn't like that. Most of the "movies" I was checking out were HBO shows, such as The Sopranos and Sex and the City. So I decided to cancel NetFlix and sign up for HBO instead. I never looked back.

If you just schlep along subsisting on BigCo crumbs, all you'll ever see is their ass in your face. [burningbird]
