Thoughts on Radio.

I'm 66th in the ranking by page-reads. Of course, most of my hits are from me. Although it will erase about 90% of my hits, I think there ought to be some way to filter out your own hits. I only really want to see hits from other people.

I can see that some of my links in my Baba category are broken. I think that's because of my attempts to stream one category to another server via FTP. I can see that once again my directory.opml file is screwed up. I'll try editing it again. And, I'll poke around in Radio itself to see if I need to change something there.

This whole post-to-multiple-categories thing has me spooked. I think I'm going to keep all my posts to one category just in case.

Andy Sylvester started a directory of Radio 8 resources.  [Scripting News]: Looks to be a good link to have in our bag of links.

Wow. I just had an evil thought. If I post to more than one category, how many times is my post stored in the "cloud" database? I hope only once.

A bunch of fixes in upstreaming released on Wednesday.  [Scripting News]

This includes being able to explicitly specify passive FTP. Cool. What about port. Can I just tack that on to the end of the URL with the colon notation? I hope so.

I wonder if the "cloud" at UserLand stores its data compressed. If not, that would be a cool way to increase storage without buying more hard drives.
