Tony Collen: "So I've sold you on CSS, right?" No.[Scripting News]

That's too bad. I'm sold.

David Brown: Radio as a Python IDE. “The Python Tool allows Radio UserLand to be used as a Python IDE. Radio’s integrated outliner turns out to be a wonderful tool for Python editing, and the Tool provides an efficient way to write, debug, and deploy Python code.” [mac.scripting.com]

This is really cool. I gotta get it and try it out. But there is one problem for me. My Radio runs remotely. And I'm not quite sure how easily I can run a local copy of Radio that doesn't screw with my the cloud in bad ways. Probably just turning off upstreaming will fix that problem.

I gotta say that this CSS stuff is really cool. I like the fact that the content is so simple and all of the style/format info is separated from it. I'm making all the changes up in the style section while the content remains untouched below.

I think I'm about to jump on the CSS bandwagon. I'm working on a new site design with a 3-column template I got from Erik Costello. But I think three columns is too much. I want the design to be as simple as possible and I think two columns would look better. Three columns leaves the center column very scrunched. I've got an example of what I'm working on here. The content is the same as what it came with, so most all of the links are broken.

SnorComments2 is a possible comments system I might be able to add to my weblog. I'd also like to add a search engine. I'll never be able to find anything in all of this mess.

Nope. Somebody else has already thought of brain droppings.

I've got to think of a good tag line for this weblog. "boring junk about me" just doesn't quite do it. I'm spent some time thinking of one, but haven't yet. I've considered the obvious "braindump", which I'm sure somebody else has taken. How about "brain droppings"?

...Though it may only be available for Mac OS X -- there seems to be a bit of that happening... [Jonathon Delacour]

I've noticed that to. All I can say is "ha". It's about time ":)"

I stand corrected. Matthew Thomas has lost patience with my CSS saga... [Jonathon Delacour]

Boy, do I disagree with Matthew Thomas. I've been reading Jonathon's saga with great interest. And I think anything is fair game for a weblog. If you can't write about what's going on in your head, what can you write about?
