We have a vague idea that we may try to follow old Route 66 for some of the trip. I plan to take the trip state-by-state and find cools things to see and do. Right now I'm working on Arizona. Oh, I probably should add that we live in California, so the trip starts there. My parents live in Cincinnati, so the trip will pass through there at some point.
