Recently I've started to explore DHTML. This time I'm doing it much more intense then ever. Reading through all this DHTML-Manuals means a lot of fun and a lot of frustration to me. Both at the same time. I don't understand that DHTML is always presented in such a complicated way. But never mind, slowly the dust settles.

The reason for my reawakened interest in DHTML is based on the necessaty that i want to arrange historical weblog-postings in a more flexible way. It annoys me just to see the 5 most recent postings on one screen. I envision the possibility to arrange every single posting i ever did along a virtual timeline. This would empower me to create my very personal chronofile-like review of my own interesting postings.

A propos personal history. Today i was informed by a friend that the once famous and ambitious company General Magic (GM) has finally filed for bankruptcy protection. What a strange world. I owe it to GM's fabulous programming language TeleScript that I became interested into an even more obscure language called UserTalk. TeleScript once famous as the first 100 percent pure agent language has already been forgotten. Even though I've to admit that I still love this language. Especially because it had so many similarities with UserTalk. Or maybe it's the other way round ? Who knows ? I even found some screenshots I've once collected . They built a PDA called Magic Cap which was based on a very strange interface metapher; a little bit to childish I assume ! GM started an outsourced Apple company lead by Marc Porat.
