Vickie Noble astrology notes just in via Katrina:
Saturn Opposite Pluto - conjunct Lunar Nodes. This opposition began last August and was active and influential at the
time of September 11th; the two planets together have a general tendency
to be hard, and many astrologers place the "blame" for the current war
on this alignment. Pluto is Destruction (death and rebirth, the snake
shedding its skin), and Saturn is control and structure among other
things. It's a tug of war. Along with this fairly heavy and
high-pressure opposition, which is becoming exact again on May 25th, are
the transitting Nodes of the Moon. The North Node is coming into
conjunction with Saturn in Gemini, and the South Node is conjunct with
Pluto in Sagittarius. This is really something--extremely karmic and
fateful.
Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. To add fuel to the fire, there is a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at precisely
the same time--Sunday, May 26th--in Sagittarius no less (not close to
Pluto, but even just being in the same sign, and the Full Moon is
opposite the Sun in Gemini where Saturn is, is enough to give us pause).
Mars at 0 degrees Cancer. On Tuesday, May 28th, right after the two events listed above, Mars hits
the point of the Summer Solstice Eclipse from last year (2001), which is
where it was (by opposition) on September 11th. This seems inauspicious,
to say the least. Mars is just a "trigger," but given all the larger and
more fateful events, little Mars tends to be a mighty player.
New Moon Solar Eclipse. On June 10th the Sun and Moon come together in a solar eclipse at 19
Gemini--conjunct Saturn and the North Node opposite Pluto and the South Node
