Ralph Nader Washington Post Op-Ed: Corporate Socialism
excellent read -- WWW III and the collusion of the media, biz and gov will mean that most of the evil greed doers skate free of course -- it's going to take something dramatic from Nature and a big dose of karma to bring on any real corporate reform this time

and having to go through a Windows 2000 box and proxy to get to our net connection via Direcway from the Macs is no picnic either -- supposedly a Mac OS X solution is coming
a public ip address would be nice, but they haven't productized the routing table yet over there at Direcway yet -- ye gaads

it sucks working doing Radio from a Mac these days -- running OS X 10.1.5 and a web browser -- pick a browser, it doesn't matter-- they all have MAJOR problems -- icons not rendering on the desktop website in Mozilla, blurring text in IE, no tabs in Netscape -- they're all lame-o
and surfing on a Mac is still slower than with XP -- helloooooo Apple
and yes we'll pay $129 for the Jaguar upgrade

the airline industry isn't done with disasters either -- and what about all the GE Capitals that capitalize it all -- and the banks -- this baby has a long long way to go to the downside -- is tres delicate

you know, on these markets -- there's still PLENTY of room on the downside for the DOW -- try 5000 more points lower -- with some inflation to come and a further eroding of the "value" of the dollar
it'll take a big old committed war to boost this economy
cause the thing about money is this Poindexter -- there's no inherent value to it in and of itself -- it's all just smoke and mirrors and lies
Love is the only thing that's real -- it's free and pays back bigtime when you give more than you take -- it's the opposite of business spending as little as possible to make as much as you can -- they're 2 completely different worlds bossman
know the enemy

we paid and upgraded our mac.com account -- you get Virex 7.1 for OS X as part of the deal -- it'll be the first time we've run anti-virus software on OS X since the get-go -- this weekend looks like fun on the computers again -- the QTSS server will finally head out to Austin on Saturday to a T-1 and a public ip address
