The big news this week is the transit of Venus into its debilitation sign of Virgo on August 1st at 9:57 a.m. CDT. Venus will remain debilitated until August 31st. The debilitation of Venus will greatly reduce its ability to protect and promote its own significations, such as material comforts, creativity, artistic pursuits, luxury, wife, love, medicine, financial administration, advertising, entertainment, law, teaching, fashion, hospitality, worldly knowledge, and professional careers. The debilitation will be most difficult for Taurus, Pisces, and Scorpio, as the mooltrikona sign for Venus, Libra, falls in the sixth, eighth, and twelfth houses, respectively, for these rising signs. For Taurus, it brings disputes and health or financial problems relative to romance, investments, children, education, and creative pursuits. For Pisces, it brings obstructions, setbacks, and accidents relative to marriage and partners. For Scorpio, it brings loss of income and problems relative to older siblings. Sun remains in Cancer, free from any close afflictions, giving maternal instincts to fathers, people in authority, and leaders in government.
