Golden Gate bridge security alert 10:46:51 PM     yuck -- in the referer log for mybits today was a Google search for "jeff evans" + cia moi? yikes 10:01:00 PM     Venus was sure pretty under that crescent moon tonight -- we're going to set the alarm and wake the kids up between 3-4am to watch the Perseid meteor shower 9:44:09 PM     brush fires are happening almost everyday around here -- 300 acres the day before yesterday -- another chunk today down near Fairfield this afternoon -- we were 500 ft under the 2 planes that flew right over our heads and dumped pink fire put-er-outer right on a house about to be swallowed up by flames -- it was amazing -- we were probably too close for safety -- helicopters were dumping water right across from us not more than few hundred yards away, and then making amazing bank turns to go over and dip for some more water like out of a movie 9:32:48 PM     like we said -- one down US Airways files Chapter 11 more to come 4:10:45 PM
