we've been working some more on the DharmaGems website now that our QTSS server is up -- and we've changed the look here too
you may have to deal with RealPlayer or Windows Media fighting with Quicktime for the rtsp stream at DharmaGems -- it's a drag what vendors do to users who barely know that there are prefs -- let alone where they are and how to modify them
latency is an issue over a Direcway satellite Internet connection -- it's probably the same for Starband users -- Timbuktu, ftp and afp from Mac OS X over Direcway are all basically useless -- do Apple, Direcway/Hughes and Earthlink know this?
there's no prob doing TB2 and ftp from WindozXP -- and the web browsing is WAY WAY faster -- hopefully OS X 10.2 will help
