1800.762.2775 -- Apple Customer Relations -- let's see how they do dealing with my gripe about pricing on the upgrade to OS X Server 10.2 -- looks like they are going to screw the early adopters -- again

we bought OS X Server retail before July 2002 -- so we're going to have to pay retail again -- there's no upgrade price

Apple did this to the early adopters of OS X Server when they released OS X Server 10.0 too -- we had to pay retail because there was no upgrade price

we've been on hold now for 10 minutes -- the Apple Order Center wasn't any help so they sent us to Customer Relations -- which turns out to be Customer Service -- some service -- they transfered us to tech support -- oiy -- time to email MacCentral and a bunch of other Mac sites and spread the word that Apple punishes OS X Server early adopters with lame pricing

on hold -- still -- again -- with another person -- they're all friendly of course -- they're not accountable

the final word: sorry sir, there is no upgrade pricing for you

so we sent an email to Steve -- like it will matter

wonder how come the timestamps sometimes have an extra line space in there under a post -- especially when doing it via multi-author
