Just back from a month in Ireland, my laptop's hard disk having given up the ghost two days before the trip. Moreover, the house we rented did not have broadband and it took me a long time to get a modem connection up and running. I have got so used to broadband (particularly wireless - 802.11x) that I feel a bit lost without it. I had planned to write up a bit about the trip here, but that all fell by the wayside.
