New Device: More Ads, Less Show. It's called the Time Machine, and it compresses TV shows -- even sports events -- to enable the networks to show more commercials. [Wired News]
This is great. Embraced because it can compress a show so that an extra commercial can be shown, now advertisers are fretting that might also be used to compress the ads. Tee hee.
