I like Salon. I'm not a premium member because ever since their cutbacks they have fewer articles that I am interested in. That makes me feel bad, but I don't have the money to just throw it around because they used to be great. They need to earn it with their current content, not based on past glories. Their Whitewater tease today is nothing but annoying. Looks like it might be a good article, in the style of the old Salon, but the few paragraphs they'll let me see for free are nothing but, well, a 'come on'. Reminds me of the worse kind of TV news. Sorry, you're still not getting my cash. 4:59:16 PM    comment [] I love my old Macintosh Color Classic. An excellent design, oh-so friendly, and the very first Mac I could call my own. Wired has a story about how these old all-in-one machines are still loved in Japan.
