The Webvan Homeless Ditty
Yesterday, on Market Street in San Francisco, there was a bum on a
street corner banging a newspaper stand and singing a folk song about
Webvan. Unfortunately, I think he was making it up on the spot and was
probably drunk, so it was hard to understand and didn't make a lot of
sense. But it was an interesting sign of the times in term of street
performances. The chorus seemed be "Here comes the webvan, there goes
your money".
A year ago perhaps he wasn't homeless?
