The long Macconnect Goodbye
I was hopeful that my ongoing saga with leaving Macconnect was over.
I'm pleased as punch with my new ISP, but lo and behold, Macconnect's
clueless-ness surfaces again. I got a frantic phone call from their
billing department that my credit card has expired. That's true, it
expired in September.
But I cancelled my Macconnect account months ago. Yet, somehow, they
decided they needed to begin billing me again and they didn't have a
record that my account had been closed. It was a complete surprise to
the billing department despite the written confirmation they sent me
back in July.
