Cleaning PowerBook Screens
I've been using regular eyeglass cleaner on PowerBooks for years. It
really never worked very well, but it helped a little, and did no
apparent damage. I finally broke down and bought some Klear Screen, thanks to a good
deal at Macworld Expo. The results are amazing. I had always assumed
that it was just marked-up, re-packaged eyeglass cleaner. But it's
clearly not, whatever it is, it works really well. I wish I'd tried it
long ago. My PowerBook and LCD screen, as well as my Palm and other
devices, are sparkling clean now. Seriously, even if you're a skeptic,
give it a try.
