Lnk.to delivers an nytimes article about why Bush is seen as a cowboy, and what this has done to the US/Europe relationship: "Terrorists are a hundred times more likely to obtain a weapon of mass destruction from Pakistan than from Iraq," one senior European official said. "North Korea is far more likely to sell whatever it's got. But can we say this in public? Can we have a real debate about priorities? Not with George Bush."

Strangely enough, a Microsoft product won an award this year at LinuxWorld. The product was Services For Unix 3.0 which won Best System Integration Software. SFU 3.0 features, among other stuff, Interix which is a newer, more complete posix subsystem for windows NT4/2K/XP. This is also the product that has given the lawyers here direct experience with the GPL, and helped direct the internal policies around it.
