Using OmniOutliner with applescripts

Nice. Use the mult-column capabilities of 'Outliner to put status information there. Includes a script that will compile your outline.

The last part of the article discusses using Omnigraffle to flow-chart your scripts. A nice idea.

(even though I personally like Glyphix more then 'Graffle, 'Graffle does have some nice features like that. Glyphix seems to be geared more towards graphics people that need to create org charts or snazzy vector graphics. 'Graffle seems to be more geared towards programmers who need to create project charts.

Myself? 90% of the time I don't need or want to make a project chart. I just want to make a snazzy graphic to put in a paper, or a map or something. For that extra 10%, I have other tools (ChartConstructor to do my project mapping work.)
