Ask MacSlash: Dead Man's Switch [MacSlash: A daily dose of Macintosh News and Discussion]

What happens to all of your passwords when you die?

The most of mine are written down somewhere. (and I really need to tell someone where that book is, just in case)

I also keep a journal, and encrypt it using PGP. I'm sure people would be interested in reading it, after I'm gone. Maybe unencrypting them as part of my "switch". (but, if someone steals the powerbook, then all of the secrets are out -- to the wrong people)

Maybe I'll write a python Switch...
