It's always amazing the mistakes you find in your resume, even a few years since you last looked at it.
Some of the paperwork for a contract requires a resume be sent as well. That provided the fire for me to translate my resume from Appleworks to LaTeX. I found so many mistakes this way it was amazing. The best part is, my resume is now drop-dead gorgeous.
Oh, and unrtf is OK - it got the text out. I had to rewrite most of the formatting commands (semi-ugly generated LaTeX), and this would have been pain on a larger document. Rewriting formatting commands with a resume, however, was a good exercise in the language.
