More Than You Ever Wanted To Know About: Singular Thier and Jane Austen (and elsewhere)
Singular "their" in Jane Austen and elsewhere: "Jane Austen and other famous authors violate what everyone learned in their English class." A fascinating article if you're into that sort of thing, horribly yawn-worthy if not.

However it is annoying that some of the links to external (interesting) documents don't work.
