del.icio.us sidebar!
There's this feature I've always wanted to add to my blog, where I could post links to my blog using del.icio.us. Tagging a bookmark "postme" would mean it was automatically on my site. No firing up Radio, no cron job, no nothing. Automatic.

Today I decided to make it a reality. Using RSS-xpress Lite (a Javascript based RSS parser), and del.icio.us's RSS capabilities, I was able to realize my dream. A little bit of template editing and I was good to go.

I would like RSS-xpress Lite to make the title of their table a link, as I was trying to click it for a while. (Maybe an option passed to the Javascript URL?) It doesn't, so whatever. I do, however, like the high amount of CSS customization provided.

Readers using RSS can keep up with the links I find, and post via del.icio.us, via my postme tag RSS feed for del.icio.us

Update: If you're using Safari you might see Safari's fun caching bug (where it sometimes doesn't see changes to the CSS file associated with a page.) Sometimes I'm able to quit Safari and clear up this bug, but this time I had to empty my cache (found in the Safari/application menu). The links should fit inside the sidebar perfectly - if you don't see this I'm betting something is cached.
